முகம் மட்டும் மலரும்படியாக நட்புச் செய்வது நட்பு அன்று; நெஞ்சமும் மலரும்படியாக உள்ளன்புகொண்டு நட்புச் செய்வதே நட்பு ஆகும்.

விளக்கம்:
(நெஞ்சின்கண் நிகழ்வதனை 'நெஞ்சு' என்றார். இறந்தது தழீஇய எச்ச உம்மை விகாரத்தால் தொக்கது. இதனான் இரண்டும் ஒருங்கே மலர வேண்டும் என்பது பெற்றாம்.)
